PERSONAL BIO:
John Cote is the Founder and CEO of Rocket Social Marketing and author of the Amazon.com #1 Best Selling and Award Winning book, MOBILIZE YOUR CUSTOMERS. As a Certified Member of the Power Marketing Consultants Network, John spends a great deal of time masterminding with cutting edge marketers from around the world. This gives his clients the benefit of not only his expertise, but that of the entire group. These consultants create highly targeted and profitable campaigns for their clients that help them dominate their industry. Additionally, John travels extensively during the year to attend the premiere marketing conferences to stay on the leading edge of current marketing trends.
John has volunteered his time to teach marketing for the Chamber of Commerce of Huntsville/Madison County, Small Business Development Center, Madison Chamber of Commerce, Women's Business Center of North Alabama, Rotary Club, Public Relations Council of Alabama and the UAH Marketing Association. Additionally, he has been a guest speaker and panelist at several national social media marketing conferences and featured in radio programs and marketing newsletters for his marketing expertise.
BACKGROUND:
John grew up in Connecticut and graduated from Central Connecticut State University with a B.S.degree in Business Finance. He joined the Marine Corps and served as an Officer and Naval Aviator for 10 years, attaining the rank of Major. He is a decorated combat veteran.
After completing his service, he was hired as a pilot with a major U.S. airline and has attained over 10,000 hours of flight time. Not content to sit still, he started several businesses while continuing to hone his marketing skills. Sensing a massive change in the marketing world during 2008 he decided to shift his focus. John launched Rocket Social Marketing to provide social media, video and mobile marketing expertise for entrepreneurs, businesses, authors and speakers.
John has been married to his wife Jennifer (also a best selling co-author) for over 22 years and their entrepreneurial nature has led them to start several companies together. They have a daughter and two sons whom they adopted together as a sibling group from overseas. They currently reside in Huntsville, Alabama.
